GENERAL DECLUTTERING AND ORGANISING

Working together, we will efficiently go through your belongings, deciding what items to throw away (I will try to keep this to a minimum) and what items to keep, donate, sell or recycle.

I understand this can be an emotional process, especially when we are sorting through sentimental items. I will support you throughout the process and help you make some difficult decisions.

I will never force you to part with anything unless you are 100% sure you want to do so, however, I am there to help you learn to live with less, so I will encourage you to part with some items.

Typical areas you may need help decluttering include kitchens, wardrobes, children’s playrooms, garages, studies, lofts.

Once we have decluttered, I will help you to organise your belongings.

For me, organisation is not about perfection or minimalism, nor is it about expensive matching storage. In fact, I love nothing more than reusing and repurposing your existing storage.

I will work with you to understand how you use the space, what your main challenges are, and what items you use regularly in order to suggest the best way to organise the space.

I will make recommendations for the best storage to use in the room and also happily recommend furniture changes to optimise the layout of the room.

WARDROBES

You should open your wardrobe every day, knowing exactly what you've got and be excited to get dressed. Your wardrobe should be full of items that make you feel fantastic, everything should fit and be in a good condition.

Working together, we will efficiently go through your wardrobe, deciding what items to throw away (I will try to keep this to a minimum) and what items to keep, donate, sell or recycle.

Once we have decided what items to keep, I will organise your wardrobe in a way that suits you, your lifestyle and the space you have available. That might be by colour or by item or both! Ideally you would have matching slimline hangers, though they are not essential.

You will be left with a wardrobe containing easy-to-see, accessible clothes ultimately saving you much needed time whenever you come to get dressed!

CHILDREN'S WARDROBES AND PLAYROOMS

Children grow up at lightning speed and outgrow toys and clothes in the blink of an eye. Keeping on top of children’s bedrooms, wardrobes and playrooms can be all-consuming and a real trigger for stress.

As a mum to two little people, just 18 months apart, I know what it's like to be constantly tidying up toys and sorting through outgrown clothes. I will support you through the decluttering process and help you install a system to make these tasks easier going forward.

Working together, we will efficiently go through your children’s belongings, deciding what items to throw away (I will try to keep this to a minimum) and what items to keep, donate, sell or recycle.

I will encourage you to involve your children in the decluttering process. It is important that they understand the value of toys and the joy of passing them on to family, friends or charity.

You may decide to store toys in the loft or shed and rotate them every few months, for example.

I will install a simple system that will encourage everyone to tidy the toys away, leaving the room neat and ordered and the children feeling excited by all their toys again.

I also provide support virtually either by video call or phone call. We will have an initial consultation call to discuss what areas you would like to tackle, what challenges you face and what you would like to achieve.

From there, I will create a personalised action plan to best suit your needs, depending on how much support you need and want.
